Precision Forged Inconel 625 Ring for Turbine & Chemical Processing Equipment
Precision-forged INCONEL 625 alloy rings: Designed for extreme environments. Utilizing advanced precision forging technology, these rings optimize the inherent high strength and superior corrosion resistance of INCONEL 625 alloy. They operate stably across a wide temperature range of -196°C to 980°C, and are particularly adept at resisting stress corrosion, pitting, and high-temperature oxidation. Custom sizes are available to meet the stringent reliability requirements of critical components in fields such as turbomachinery, chemical processing, and marine engineering.
Nickel alloy 625 material properties
Nickel alloy 625 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-based wrought superalloy, mainly composed of nickel (58%-65%), chromium (20%-23%), molybdenum (8%-10%), and niobium, among other elements.
Key characteristics:
Corrosion resistance: Excellent performance in acidic, alkaline, and chloride environments; its resistance to pitting corrosion is three times that of ordinary stainless steel.
High-temperature strength: Maintains high strength at 950℃, adaptable to a wide temperature range of -200℃ to 980℃.
Weldability and machinability: Supports conventional welding and hot forging processes, but exhibits high resistance to high-temperature deformation (flow stress reaches 250MPa at 1100℃).
Superior INCONEL 625 Alloy: INCONEL 625 (UNS N06625) is a solid solution strengthened nickel-based superalloy with molybdenum and niobium as the main strengthening elements. It does not achieve strength through precipitation hardening, but rather relies on the solid solution strengthening of the nickel-chromium matrix by molybdenum and niobium. This gives it stable and excellent mechanical properties over a wide temperature range.
Advantages of Precision Forging: Compared to traditional machining methods, precision forging significantly refines the grain structure of the material, thereby improving the strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance of the product. This means that the forged rings you provide can withstand extremely high mechanical and thermal stresses, resulting in a longer service life in harsh environments. The forging process also eliminates internal defects, improving the density and integrity of the material.
Applications
Turbine Machinery: Ideal for gas turbine casings, compressor rings, seal supports, shroud rings, and exhaust system components.
Chemical Processing Equipment: Widely used in reactors, distillation columns, heat exchangers, valve seats, and piping systems exposed to aggressive corrosives.
Marine & Offshore Engineering: Perfect for submarine propulsion components, seawater system parts, mooring equipment, and fasteners due to supreme resistance to seawater.
